Seems like ages since I last shot a gig! Finally dusted my camera off and headed back to The Brud for a band who are creating quite a buzz in the new-music press

Didn’t know a right lot about Veronica Falls prior to the gig – I’d seen there name flying around twitter and on various new music websites, so figured they’d be worth shooting – especially as a national mag wanted me to cover it for them.

Done quite a few gigs down at The Brud now, so it’s quite difficult to thing of anything new to say about lighting etc, but I did notice that Nathan (owner) appears to have been bought a smoke machine for Christmas, which made using a flashgun rather tricky. Still, stuck around for the majority of the gig and managed to get a handful of decent shots:
